Christmas Gifts for Men

What do you get the man who has everything and buys whatever he wants? Some of us resort to giving him socks for Christmas, and while I personally think socks are a great gift, let's see if we can up your game this year and find something truly perfect for the man in your life. Many of these gifts are tried and true, showing up on multiple "gifts for men" lists and there is something for any budget.

Think about his hobbies, or hobbies he might want to get into. That's where you're gonna find something great for him. And if he already has everything he could possibly want or need for his hobbies, I've got a few gifts that are useful and not necessarily tied to any hobby, we'll start with those first.

For Any Man Gifts

Towel Warmer ($80) - Doesn't the sound of a warm towel after a nice, hot shower sound magical? Well, with this towel warmer, you can bring that magic to life. All you have to do is put your towel in this warmer before stepping into the shower and it'll be nice and warm by the time you're done. Not only does it work on towels, but you can put blankets, bath robes, and even pajamas in it. This would be a great gift for parents/in-laws or even grandparents.

Cell Phone Stand with Bluetooth Speaker (Sponsored) ($20) - If there's a man in your life who likes to watch videos on his phone, and also likes to turn the volume up as high as it'll go, this would be the perfect gift for him. It's a cell phone stand with a built-in Bluetooth speaker so he can watch videos without having to hold his phone and he'll get a surround sound vibe along with it.

Henley Shirt ($6) - I bought one of these for my dad last year for Christmas, and this week he told me to get him more of them this year for Christmas because he's worn this shirt so much. These are simple classic long-sleeve shirts dressed up with three buttons near the top so that they're a little nicer than just your average t-shirt. At $6, you can't beat this price.

Flannel Hoodie 3-Pack ($38) - There's something about flannel that I think a lot of people love, making this 3-pack hoodie set a great gift for just about any man in your life. They're simple, yet with enough of a pattern that they're not boring, and they've got several different colors/styles to choose from to find just the right combo.

Dental Pod Retainer/Denture Cleaner ($90) - I probably need this one for myself because my retainers need a good thorough cleaning (I try my best but the damage is done). If you're disgusted by your man's retainers, consider this practical gift he can use on a daily basis. Also works great for dentures.

Portable Air Compressor (Sponsored) ($64) - While this can pump up anything from balls and bike tires to car tires and pool floats, I imagine this being a super useful gift to stick in your car and keep with you just for those times when you come out to your car after work and find your tire flat. No need to call a tow truck or a neighbor, you can pump up the tire with this and drive straight to the repair shop all on your own. It's portable, cordless, and quite small so it won't take up much space in your trunk.

Electric Toothbrush ($30) - This is such a practical gift that he'll use twice a day, every day. There aren't that many gifts that you can say that about. Not only is it an electric toothbrush, it's also a whitening toothbrush and has 4 different cleaning modes including a gentle mode for anyone with sensitive teeth.

Levi's ($32) - These are a classic present that shows a little more thought than socks, while still be so practical and useful. This is a great gift for any age.

Wireless Phone Charger ($10) - My husband sometimes wakes up for work and finds that his phone wasn't plugged in all the way so it didn't charge overnight. If you know someone who also has this struggle on the regular, they need this phone charger. There's no plugging it in, you simply set your phone on it and rest assured knowing it's charging.

Ring Battery Doorbell ($50) - Ring Doorbells are so useful and this one has 66% more vertical coverage than the previous model (so it'll give you a full image of whoever is at the door), and it comes with the option to use it completely battery powered or to hardwire it in for continuous power.

Ring Floodlight Cam ($100)- I like the idea of having this floodlight cam almost a little more than a simple doorbell, so if you're willing to spend the extra money this might be an even better gift. It's motion activated and will turn on two floodlights as well as the camera when it senses someone coming up the walk. There is a security siren, two-way talk, and customizable motion zones that can be updated from the Ring app. Buy this for your parents or in-laws who are always asking you to check on their house while they're out traveling the world. You might have to help them get it set up but then they'll be able to keep an eye on their house from anywhere.

Book Light (Sponsored) ($18) - The perfect gift for someone who loves to read in bed, on long drives (hopefully they're not the one driving, or late into the night. This goes around their neck and points the light right at their book so they can read while their spouse sleeps.

Skylight Frame ($109) - This is a digital picture frame that cycles through photos on a regular basis. It's great because anyone can send photos to your account once you give them the info so all the kids and grandkids can send pictures to grandma and grandpa to keep them feeling in the loop and in your life. There are cheaper digital frames out there, but the app for this one is so much more functional and easy for the end-users that this is the one I'd recommend.

Rolling Grill Basket ($24) - If you know someone who loves to grill or barbecue, this would be an awesome gift for them. These are baskets that you fill with meat and veggies and then stick them on the grill for easy, contained cooking. They ensure you won't lose food down the grill or have anything stick to your grill so clean up will be a breeze.

Boot Dryer (Sponsored) ($41) - There's nothing worse than getting up for working in the morning and realizing that your boots are still wet, or even just cold, from the snow or mud you walked around in the night before. If you know a man who walks to work/school or works outdoors in any weather, this is the perfect gift for them (especially in the winter). This boot dryer will help ensure they have warm, dry shoes every day of the week. They also have a Glove Dryer Attachment ($22, Sponsored) and a Boot Extension Attachment ($10, Sponsored) for really tall work boots and waders.

Sainlogic Weather Station ($122) - If you know a man who has recently retired or just finds himself with some extra time on his hands, this would be a fun gift to get him into a new hobby.

Bug-A-Salt Flyswatter Gun ($40) - If there's a man in your life who walks around with the flyswatter searching for that one fly who snuck in the house, this would be such a fun gift for them. It's a flyswatter salt gun, so they can feel like they're truly on the hunt of a lifetime while keeping your house free of bugs.

TUSHY Bidet Toilet ($100) - I'm seeing these more and more and honestly starting to wonder if we need to get one, just to say that we have one. That's the power of peer pressure, right there. In all honesty, there's probably a man you know who doesn't know they're missing this in their life, but as soon as you get this for them for Christmas, they won't be able to live without it. Think of someone who uses Dude Wipes. They're the type of person who would appreciate the upgrade to a bidet.

Battery Daddy Storage ($20) - The ultimate adulting gift. This container allows you to organize all your batteries in one place so that you can easily grab whichever size you need without searching around the battery drawer for an hour. Plus you'll be able to easily tell when you need to buy more so that you don't run out just when you needed them the most.

Portable Power Station (Sponsored) ($1423) - If you can put a price tag on piece of mind, this might be it. This is a solar-powered generator that can be used as an emergency home backup generator during power outages, with RVs, camping, or on road trips, for off-grid living, or for mobile work spaces. It has a fast UPS switchover (less than .2 ms) to deliver near seamless power to security cameras, medical fridges, and even for video conferencing. The battery life is long, being able to power a fridge for up to 2 days, and it's quiet (which everyone around you will love).

Car/Shop Gifts

Black & Decker Handheld Vacuum (Sponsored) ($52) - This handheld, cordless vacuum would be an awesome gift for a man who loves keeping his car spotless inside and out. It's small enough to be useful when cleaning out a car, and comes with a crevice tool and a rotating nozzle to help reach those hard to get spots between and under seats.

Mini Electric Screwdriver (Sponsored) ($42) - This screwdriver is about the same size as a regular screwdriver ... but it's electric. This could be a game changer for tightening up loose screws on furniture, hanging shelves and frames, and assembling small projects with the kids or grandkids. It comes with 50 different bits and a storage case to keep them all organized.

Magnetic Tool Wristband ($16) - If you've got a man in your life who loves building or fixing things on his own then this would be a great gift to add to his tool collection. It's a magnetized wristband to hold nails, screws, bolts, and other small metal parts in place for easy access when you need them.

Board Games

Terraforming Mars ($57) - In our house, this is the board game to rule all board games. It's an engine building game focused on terraforming, you guessed it, Mars. Players work to increase their own resource production through playing cards or buying items. You gain terraform points for certain actions and whoever has the most points at the end of the game wins. The problem is, terraform points come from many different things and they're not all counted up until after the final round has been played, so it's a risk to finish the game because you never know who will be the actual winner. There are so many strategies to this game, and the sheer amount of cards means it'll be a different game every time you play. It can be played with 1-5 people so if you've got a board game enthusiast on your list, this is a great gift for them. We also use the Prelude Expansion ($24) as it gets the game going a bit faster, so if you know someone who already has the base game, this expansion is a great option, as well as the Hellas & Elysium Board Expansion

Skyteam ($28) - This is a 2-player game perfect for date nights at the house or just a fun way to spend some time together. I haven't personally played this game, but I've had it recommended to us by multiple people so we might be getting this as a present this year. Two players have to work together to land a plane and there are several different obstacles to overcome in the process. It's a 20 minute co-op game that's a great next addition to your game cupboard.

Tech Gifts

3D Printers (Sponsored) ($230-$350) - I can't believe there are 3D printers out there for less than $1000, but there are. If there's a man in your life who thinks 3D printers are the coolest thing ever, get him one and let him have fun designing gadgets and toys. If you want a basic model that works great, check out this Flashforge Adventurer 5M ($230) which has one-button auto-leveling, a double-sided PEI platform, and a 220x220x220 mm build volume. The Flashforge AD5X ($339) allows for multi-color printing and uses an intelligent filament system to auto-switch between spools for uninterrupted, waste-free printing.

Beats Studio Pro Headphones ($169) - A really nice set of headphones makes a great gift, especially for a man who loves to listen to his music while going for a run or walk after work. These are noise-cancelling headphones with 40 hours of battery life so recharging won't be needed very often. They come in 4 different colors and are compatible with Apple and Android.

VR Headset ($250) - This gift is truly for the man who has everything but still wants something fun to do on Christmas Day. VR headsets can be such a fun immersive experience and allow the user to explore video games in a way they can't otherwise do.

Ray-Bans Meta ($262) - These aren't just sunglasses. They have speakers so you can listen to music and take phone calls, it has a built in camera for taking pictures or videos of exactly what you're seeing, and you can even do video calls to show people your view. Talk about sunglasses of the future.

Fitness Gifts

TechTools Punching Bag ($63) - This is a stand-up punching bag that's quite small (not those gigantic ones you're probably picturing) so it's perfect when you want something you can store in a corner and pull out when you want to use it. This is a great gift for someone who wants to get into exercise but wants to do it at their own home. Boxing is a great way to exercise. It builds muscle, coordination, and agility all in one sport. Pair this with some boxing gloves and a jump rope (manly, of course) and your husband/son/brother/father has a great way to circuit train in his garage or basement.

Weighted Vest ($60) - Weighted vests are great to add some extra resistance to workouts, even just walking around the neighborhood. They build muscle, burn more calories, and increase bone density, which is probably why they're growing in popularity amongst people in their 50s and 60s. But even if you're buying this for someone in their 20s, it's a great gift for anyone looking to get a little more out of their workouts without adding extra reps or time.

Fitness Jump Rope ($9) - Jumping for exercise has become a thing this year, but in all seriousness, it's great exercise and having a jump rope while doing it helps you not feel quite so silly and also builds some extra coordination. If you're looking for a simple, budget friendly gift, this is a great option.

Ski Goggles ($30) - A nice pair of ski goggles is such a thoughtful, yet practical gift for someone who loves to hit the slopes on the weekend (or after class). Pair it with some nice gloves or ear pods to get them set up for a great day skiing or snowboarding.

Video Games

Expedition 33 ($40-$70) - I know nothing about this game, but my husband said it's one of the most talked about games of the year. If it sounds vaguely familiar, your husband/son has probably mentioned it and might enjoy getting it as a Christmas present. Just make sure you buy it for the right console because there are a lot of different types out there.

EA Sports FC 26 ($25-$50) - This is the "world's leading football [soccer] game" according to the Amazon product page. Again, I know nothing about video games, except that this is soccer (AKA football to the rest of the world), not American football, and that these types of games are super popular.

Madden NFL 26 ($25-$50) - Let your husband/son live out his NFL dreams with this video game while you curl up on the couch with a nice book and a comfy blanket.

Logitech Racing Wheel, Pedals, and Shifter ($253) - Upgrade his racing games with this awesome wheel/shifter combo set. Honestly, it looks so fun you might want to play more than he does.

Xbox Wireless Headset (Sponsored) ($43) - These wireless headphones are compatible with so many different consoles and allow immersive surround-sound gaming experiences with crystal clear team chats. They have multiple connection options (including wired and Bluetooth) for versatile gaming needs and include a flip-to-mute mic for quick on/off control while playing online so they'll never have to wonder if they're muted or not again. The battery lasts up to 45 hours and can charge while being used so game play can continue no matter what the battery is like. It's a solid Christmas gift at an unbeatable price.

Xbox Wireless Controller ($50) - Controllers are always great gifts for gamers (or even those of us who only play a few times a week) because they can take quite a beating and when the controls stop working, frustrations quickly skyrocket. You can completely avoid that hassle this Christmas season by getting him a new controller before his old one completely breaks. This controller only works for Xbox, so if you want a controller for a different gaming console, check out your options here

I hope this helps spark some ideas and makes your Christmas shopping a little easier.
