Getting a new dress for Spring is a fun way to celebrate winter's end (or a way to bring a spot of sunshine into the winter months if it's not over yet). Whether you're shopping for a dress to wear to a friend's wedding or just looking for something to spruce up your wardrobe, I've got some amazing dresses here for you to check out.
Modest Spring Dresses
(That You'll Actually Want To Buy)
Let's start off with this Lyrur Sundress featuring pockets, midi length (hits below the knee), sleeves, and a fabric belt that you can tie into a bow and style your dress with. This has a high, rounded neckline and unlike a lot of dresses, there is no teardrop cutout in the back. It comes in several designs, some are solid colors while others are understated patterns that look beautiful without raising any eyebrows.
Similar to that, we have STYLEWORLD'S Sundress. This one has a lot of the same features, but the neckline isn't quite so close to your neck but still plenty high so that you don't have to worry about anything when you sit, stand, and lean down. The sleeves are ruffle sleeves which adds a special touch, making it look that much more feminine. There is no belt for the waistline, which could be a good thing if you want your waistline to blend in a bit more.
Next is the dress I actually own and I love this thing. It's a ZESICA Smocked Summer Dress (I have the "dusty blue" color). Aside from having all the essentials like pockets, appropriate length, coverage at the neckline, and sleeves, I also love the smocking to show a bit of your curves without being so tight you feel like you're gonna rip a seam, and I love, love, LOVE the wavy ribbon that outlines the tiers to give them that extra little pop that so many tiered dresses are missing. This dress is simple (completely my style) but with just enough extra touches to make it seem more-than-simple. Perfect for those of us who want to look nice but don't want our clothes to scream for attention when we walk into a room.
The ZESICA brand is a hard one to beat, which is why the next dress is the ZESICA Square-neck Summer Dress. It's defining feature is, of course, the square neckline and I love how they've added the sleeves onto this neckline with the thicker sleeve band that's gathered to frame your neckline and allows for a open, flowy sleeves. I'm a sleeve snob, and I love that these ones allow you to keep your full range of motion because there's nothing I hate more than restrictive sleeves.
This PRETTYGARDEN Aline Bell-Sleeve Dress is one you should at least take a peek at. I love that the dress is one simple color with bold accents that show off the tiers, the waistline, and even the V-neck. I think this dress is so well done to have several different patterns coming together in a way that fits effortlessly together. This is my 2026 favorite so far.
This ZEAGOO Ruffle-Sleeve Summer Dress looks like the quintesential "Spring Dress". It hits just below the knee, has a fun floral pattern, is flowy and casual, yet so beautiful and classy at the same time. If any of the other dresses have seemed too long to you, this one might be more your style.
I love how they've done the tiers in this BTFBM Boho Dress. Tiered dresses often have such a busy pattern or are so low-key that the tiers aren't even visible, which defeats part of the purpose of the tiered dress. Well here they've switched the direction of the pattern in each tier so you can easily see the difference and I'm a huge fan of how it makes this dress pop. I also love the elastic waist and the curved neck leading into a V-neck.
This Summer Eyelet dress by Chouyatou is eye-catching (wink) in a way no other Spring dress can be. I don't see many eyelet dresses for women but I love the eyelet pattern and am always drawn to it. This is a tunic dress with pockets and seems to fit lots of different body types really well (based on review/pics).
Lastly, we have the PRETTYGARDEN Drawstring V-Neck dress. This is the only sleeveless dress on here but the straps are nice and wide so you'll get plenty of coverage between your neck and shoulders. I love the drawstring on this one (which usually I'm not a fan of). I think with how they've made the neckline it just works really well. This is a maxi dress going all the way to your ankle and it's got a thicker waistband to draw it all together. This is a dress you could wear all summer whether you're going to pool parties or wedding receptions.
Good luck on finding the perfect Spring dress for your wardrobe. I hope you find one that you love to wear and that it's on sale when you buy it!
