34 Reading Goals for All Types of Readers

Why Set A Reading Goal? (or any goal)

One of my friends posted on social media that he's not a big reader, but last year he wanted to read more, so he decided to just read a little bit every day. Even just one page. That was his goal for the year.

For him the thought of reading even 12 books in a year seemed impossible. Insurmountable. Unattainable.

Can you guess what happened?

He kept to his easy goal of reading a little bit every day, and then those little bits turned into bigger bits of reading, and then even more time spent reading as the year progressed.

Until at the end of the year he'd read 104 books!

And they were not children's books, or small novellas, but full-length novels, each and every one of them.

Imagine what you can accomplish this year by setting a small, simple goal that you can actually do, little by little, every day until you surpass what once seemed insurmountable.

With that encouraging story, I'll let you deep dive into my list of reading goals for all reader types (non-readers to avid fans of reading).
